Game Guide

One of the most popular games in the casino. Roulette is fast with big payouts. We always reccomend if you are new to game, play our no download free roulette games to get your self familiar with how the betting and roulette gameplay works.

The Basics

In an online casino roulette can be played either as a single player or public game. All the players are playing against the house so playing in a public room can add to the fun. The roulette wheel is made up of 37 numbers. 0-37, from 1-36 the numbers are red, black, red, black and so on. The zero is green, to have only one zero on the table it means you are playing european roulette. The other form of roulette is american roulette, where in addition to the green zero slot you will also have an additional "double zero" green slot.

To start, the player needs to place there bet (or multiple bets) on any of the numbers on the table. The player can choose the zero if they wish. To win at roulette, a player needs to have placed there bet/bets on or around (touching) the number that the ball on the roulette wheel has dropped into. In addition to betting on specific numbers a player can place a bet on the outside of the table e.g. any even or odd number coming up or the ball landing on one section of the table, or the simplest bet that the ball will either land in a red or black slot.

The House Advantage

Between european (single zero) roulette and american roulette (double zero) there is a difference in the house advantage. For most players they prefer playing on a single zero table as the advantage to the house is only 2.7%. With the double zero as you would get the house advantage doubles to a house advantage of 5.26%. Playing on a double zero roulette wheel is an unfair house advantage and we strongly reccomend playing only on the european roulette wheels.

The Payouts

If a player has a straight up bet (betting on just one number) the payout is 35/1. You collect a payment of 36 as you get the payout of 35/1 and your original stake. If there was no house advantage you should get a payout of 36/1 and your original stake

Split bet - this is when you bet on two numbers. This is done by placing your chips in between 2 numbers, payout 17 to 1

Street bet - a three numbered bet, payout 11 to 1

Corner bet - a four-numbered bet, payout 8 to 1

Six-number bet - a six-numbered bet, payout 5 to 1

Bet on the outside dozen or column - , payout 2 to 1

Just Red or Black - payout 1 to 1

Object of The Game

To be a winner at the game of roulette you are challenging the house that you will be able to tell where the ball will land after the wheel has been spun. Many players use set amount of personal lucky numbers, but overall as with all games of chance luck is a big factor in winning. Roulette is a fun game and with lady luck on your side you can win huge amounts of money in a short space of time.
